Why We Built This
Black students are among the most heavily burdened by student loan debt in America. Despite making up a significant portion of college students, Black families have less generational wealth to draw on — making scholarships not just helpful, but essential.
The problem is that scholarship information is scattered across hundreds of websites, many of which are outdated, hard to navigate, or not focused on Black students at all. BlackCollegeScholarships.com was built to fix that — one centralized, always-free, always-updated directory built specifically for us.
